case studies

Parental support hub

The challenge: Our STEM client was challenged with retaining and motivating staff during the parental leave journey.

Our role: We coached people throughout their maternity leave journey, trained a team of internal mentors, initiated the idea of support buddies and created a support pack for managers to enable a more positive transition back to work for new parents.

The wow factor: An inspirational initiative for maternity leave staff and new parents. An eye opening learning opportunity for managers. A brand enhancing programme for the business. A big hooray for all women wanting to balance family and work life better.

valuable values

The challenge: Supporting a business recognising the need to modernise and update existing values whilst respecting the legacy of the business and the differences across subsidiary companies.

Our role: To engage with and involve all key stakeholders and design a new set of values that define the current business and steer the future vision and culture.

The wow factor: The creation of a bespoke set of defining values that staff understand, align with and aspire to role model. The implementation plan for this values framework is exciting and we are transitioning to an on-line programme to maintain momentum and ensure social distancing due to COVID-19.

leading the way

The challenge: Designing an assessment and development programme for a business requiring a speedy yet robust solution for succession planning and leadership promotion.

Our role: To create a set of leader competencies to define what successful leadership looks like. Design a Leadership Assessment Centre to identify high potentials and then facilitate the right learning to stretch and develop.

The wow factor: A team of leaders who have been coached and are ready for anything. An assessment that aligns with other HR processes and is fit for future recruitment activity. A strong leader team and succession plan that the business as confident in and excited by.

better together

The challenge: Our health sector client set the challenge to “Get Better Everyday” as a business goal supported and led by the Senior Leader team.

Our role: To use our SPC model to understand the need for change. To create work streams to lead innovative change initiatives across the business. To design and run a bespoke 3 day “away” event for the SLT to build trust, and work better together to deliver the strategic plan.

The wow factor: An updated strategic plan with measurable targets. An SLT harnessing the best in each other communicating, collaborating, challenging and changing together. A 3 year improvement plan underway.

trust to change

The challenge: To change the structure of the business to introduce Business Partners across HR, Finance, IT and Legal divisions. This business needed to build the confidence and capability to make this change happen.

Our role: To understand intentions and goals, to define the BP role for the business, to upskill the BP population and build confidence and trust that this business restructure will be game changing.

The wow factor: Determination and collaboration! Pain points supported, hurdles overcome, cynicism managed and engagement facilitated across the business through mindset and behaviour change of the new BP recruits.

building resilience

The challenge: A client with a predominantly millennial workforce facing significant challenges and stresses that required support.

Our role: To design a ‘Building Resilience’ programme to engage, encourage open and honest discussion and shift mindsets and behaviour - with the aim to reduce the feeling of pressure and increase wellbeing.

The wow factor: Our 4 step resilience model was the key to success in this project. Increasing knowledge and awareness of our brain and how it impacts behaviour and the amount of grrrr we feel is the first stage of building resilience. Feedback from all participants was “wow”.
